Megan Warnke, RDN, LDN, CDCES

Insulin Pump Training Program Manager

Megan believes knowledge is power and diabetes education is beneficial no matter where you are on your diabetes journey.

Megan is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) who has a deep passion for teaching others about all things diabetes. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship at Iowa State University in 2018.  She then moved back to her Iowa hometown and worked for a Diabetes and Endocrinology clinic where she taught diabetes education classes, insulin pump sessions, and more.

Megan’s journey into the dietetics profession and specifically diabetes education started very early in life. Megan has type 1 diabetes, as do her parents and brother. Because of her personal and professional experiences with diabetes, Megan can easily relate to the impact it has on a person’s quality of life. As she too wears an insulin pump, Megan approaches insulin pump trainings with kindness, encouraging words, and gentle coaching, ensuring each patient feels confident and comfortable using the new technology.

Outside of the office, Megan can be found chasing after her young children, practicing photography skills on said children, listening to a True Crime podcast, or learning the art of embroidery.
